This is the
latest version of the SL-TDI, published in early 1996. A substantial
data bank has been established and the statistics show solid reliability.
The Test Booklet contains 20 situations and 160 items. The
SL-TDI measures the extraverted and introverted expression of the
four functions, sensing, intuiting, thinking and feeling. (These
eight expressions of the four functions are called Type Modes.)
All eight Type Modes are measured in each situation. The SL-TDI
requires 25-35 minutes to complete and 10-15 minutes to score. Responses
are recorded in the Answer Sheet and Scoring Form. The
Test Booklet is reusable. (6 p.)

Used with the
Test Booklet, this document is for recording responses to
each item, compiling the scores and portraying the results of the
SL-TDI in numerical and graphical terms. The results show how much
each of the eight Type Modes contributes to an individual's overall
Type dynamics and to the extraverted, introverted, judging, and
perceiving aspects of the individual's personality. (Revised 2000)

The Answer
Sheet and Scoring Form contains a carbon recording form.
Administrators are encouraged to return completed copies of the
carbon form to Moving Boundaries to be incorporated into the research
